First Agro’s Japanese Kabocha - favourite pumpkins of our customers!  Kabochas are Japanese cultivar pumpkins and come in white, light pink or light orange colours. Kabocha is excellent to use for an individual "pumpkin bowl" to serve soups, stews and curries. They are also excellent for ravioli and baked as pies, can be used with any dishes needing pumpkins. Because of its denser and drier flesh, Japanese Kabocha is good for mashing or puréeing and using in baked goods for added colour, nutrition and, of course, flavour. The seeds are semi-hull-less and are excellent roasted. Kabochas have long shelf-life and can last for two months when stored in cool and dark place outside fridge.
